This diary is inspired by a daughter’s memoir- a woman recalling her mother’s music, once the soul of their home in Lahore pre-partition.
It is a tribute to the forgotten mehfils held in drawing rooms, to women whose music softened walls, and to the Lahore that once pulsed with raag inside every home.
